There is something for everyone in downtown Knoxville! With our historic Tennessee & Bijou Theatres, restaurants, shopping, stadiums, arts, museums, and more, downtown is full of local flare, entertainment and fun.

Downtown dining is home to some of the area’s favorite eateries, breweries, and ice cream shops. Pet-friendly patios, outdoor seating, rooftop bars and the outdoor square provide a quaint small-town feel to our big (and growing) city!

Annual festivals bring musicians, parades and performers of many genres. Knoxville has several concert venues, stadiums and arenas attracting some of the world’s most popular performers. The Sunsphere, built for the 1982 World’s Fair, provides a 360-degree breathtaking view across the Great Smoky Mountains and Tennessee River.

Our newest addition is Covenant Health Park, a 6,355-seat multi-use ballpark and soccer stadium. The stadium serves as the home “field” of the Double-A Knoxville Smokies of the Southern League and One Knoxville SC, a Division III soccer team. With its dynamic game-day experience, Covenant Health Park stands as Knoxville’s ultimate destination for sports and entertainment.
